Microsoft is using Legal Spam pushing Skype
“Now Skype is part of Microsoft. Together we will bring innovative technology to friends, family and colleagues everywhere. And now the future possibilities for our customers are even more exciting. We will enable more people to connect in more ways that transform and enhance their lives. And this is just the beginning.” (message from Skype) 8 billion dollars later we are being encouraged to use their new product. And they choose to lock us out of our Hotmail accounts, that they own, until we sign up. No choice, no opt out.
I way, “who wants to be in contact with the world 24-hours a day? If you do then you have the “right to choose”. there’s a phrase that is gonna come back to haunt you. I want the right to opt out, but can’t, so far.
So now if you want to continue to use Outlook , Hotmail, your email is being held hostage to signing up for this video evasion. At this time I have no use for this service. Hotmail has been my email client of choice for many reasons for many years. Now Microsoft ways if I use my Hotmail I can’t do it until I log into unwanted Skype. I tried to get rid of it, but you can’t, so far.
I fell like my computer is MY PERSONAL PROPERTY and I get crazy over unwanted spam and computer take overs. If this continues I will be switching my email account to another company. I guess I am weary of being socially engineered.
How to get rid of video phone?
While trying to get rid of Skype I Googled it and found a lot of people are trying to get rid of it. For the time being it seems to be gone, but If I have to jump thru hoops to use Hotmail, then it will have lost its value to me.
I recently received a notice for a free upgrade to Windows 10. Excited and anxious to get it, I put my name of the list. Now I’m wondering what other little surprises Microsoft has for me.
What is Microsoft up To?
This excerpt appeared in WIRED magazine, “Similarly, although Skype is in many ways a better instant messaging and voice or video-calling client than Live Messenger, it’s hard to believe that it’s $7 billion better. The Skype client itself is written almost as if it were a piece of malware, using complex obfuscation and anti-reverse engineering techniques, and it would be disquieting for Microsoft to release something that behaved in such a shady way; at the very least, the client would surely have to be rewritten to avoid the obfuscation and outright hostility to managed networks that Skype currently has.” read the entire article hear.
If you think the Government cares, think again. My personal opinion is that the Government is owned by Tech Companies or at least in league with them. Look at all the social engineering they could accomplish? Sociologists agree that whoever uses the newest technology the best will change society as we know it. Those that go along to get along will be surprised when all turns against them in the end. Good luck
