Spotters were stationed along the way and cheered and served the cyclists at key locations through the tour. The 12 rest stops and several crossing post were manned to insure safety for the cyclists during the tour. Volunteers and Firemen manned these posts and rest stops as well as medical personnel roving the course and on call during the tour.It was fun for all as The Council of Fire Chief's put on a spaghetti dinner for the cyclists after their tour, at the Harris County High School. The school served as the start and finish for all four tours. Showers and dressing rooms were provided also at the school. A great day with great weather was had by all!
Saturday night, Callaway Gardens, provided a desert and music under the stars for the cyclist and friends at the Pavilion and Sunday a joy ride through the Callaway Gardens Resort.
