Columbus Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens
In early November the Callaway Gardens area becomes excited at hosting the Steeplechase, which features five great races of thoroughbreds over an established trail in the woods. Families and friends gather to enjoy the racing horses with riders dressed in bright silks. And those in attendance are enjoying a variety of picnic fare from casual tailgating, to elegant tables adorned with fresh flowers, and even some with silver candlesticks.
