This month's featured performance is by the Cavaliers Orchestra with a guest vocal performance by John Suhr, doing a few numbers from their concert last November.

The Cavaliers Orchestra is a 17 piece big band formed by Jimmy Fuller in 1946. It has continued to perform the music of the swinging years under the leadership of John Beecher, Earl Baker, Orlando DiFabio, John Suhr, Frank Robinson, Alan Ramsay, Mickey Luttrell, and, since 1996, George Corradino. The Band has a library of over 450 songs arranged by some of the most outstanding Big Band arrangers in the country. The Cavaliers have performed with many great band leaders and entertainers including Bob Hope, Warren Covington, Billy Butterfield, Wayne King, Doc Severinson, Joe Williams, Dean Hudson, Julius La Rosa and Marilyn May.

COME EARLY FOR YOUR CHOICE OF A TABLE, THE SHOW BEGINS AT 6PM.  BRING YOUR FAVORITE FOOD & BEVERAGE OR we offer a simple menu and drink for $5.
Admission for non-members is $7. The music is continuous and in the middle of the evening, other local jazz musicians are invited to perform.

The Jazz Society meets once monthly with different featured performers offered, all in an effort to promote live jazz to the Columbus area and keep the music before the public.  The crowd who comes gets bigger and more enthusiastic all the time and the atmosphere is relaxed and congenial, full of people who truly love good music.
