We are a not for profit youth group sponsored by the Navy for youth ages 11 to 17. We meet one weekend a month at the Navy Operations Support Center located at 414 4th St in Columbus next to the civic center. The Ironclad Division is part of the US Naval Sea Cadets and US Navy League. We offer the cadets in our unit an insiders view on life in the military,and on the job training in such areas as medical, leadership/command, construction, and storekeeping/supply. We are not a recruiting tool and cadets receive no pressure to join the military.Cadets learn discipline, Navy history, respect, and good old fashioned American Pride.
